A Scarpett is a food project built around the Italian ritual of “fare la scarpetta”:
choosing bread, choosing sauce, and sharing the table.

just good sauce, crusty bread, and a table with people.
SHARING - Pull up a chair and always make room for one more.
RITUAL - In Italian culture, not even a drop of food should be left behind.
SIMPLE - It’s just bread and sauce. Simple and somehow, everything.
“Scarpetta" is also the diminutive form of scarpa (shoe), so it literally translates to "little shoe”.
The point is that your little piece of bread takes “the walk” around the plate.
